MEET OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Martine Singer became Hollygrove’s Executive Director in 2006,
having been a consultant to Hollygrove’s Board of Directors
and a long-time supporter, volunteer and neighbor. She has
overseen Hollygrove’s transition from residential to
community-based services and expanded the number of children
served every year. Prior to joining Hollygrove, Martine
held executive positions in several global media companies.
She founded and served as publisher for the Russian-language
The New York Times in Review and launched the Los Angeles
Times' award-winning online service. Martine also founded
her own consulting firm serving media and communications
clients as well as nonprofit organizations.
Martine shares Hollygrove's dedication to preventing child abuse
and is committed to supporting EMQ's statewide mission to
ensure permanency and create hope for California's children
and families.
Martine holds a MBA from Yale School of Management. She was born
in New York and now makes her home with her husband and
children in Hancock Park.
